Five raised bands on spine with gilt lettering on black labels. 645, 694, and 731 pages. Vol. I has one-third of blank endpaper at front removed. This page has a gift inscription to the previous owner. The other two volumes also have the previous owner's name on the front endpaper. Covers have bumps, rubs and scuffs. Some browning to pages. Vol. II has some notes in the margins. There are a few pages with creases to the corners from being turned down.
